Oh woe, thrice woe!

Yeah well, the euro is now trading at over 1.22 to the £:


So may be I should transfer some money into my Spanish bank account?  But the euro might weaken further?  And do I trust Spanish banks?

    The € will weaken further and you should be very wary of Spanish banks - their balance sheets are a mess and a no. of the smaller ones will be taken over, at best, or will be insolvent before the year's out. BBVA should be ok, though, if you have an acc. there.
