No one particularly likes Theresa May’s new plan for Brexit but its appeal lies less in its detail than in the identity of the people who really, truly, madly, deeply hate it. I suspect, too, that a public that was bored with Brexit long ago will grudgingly sign up to anything that promises to put an end to the whole bloody, grisly drama.
