Is it my imagination or does sport seem to have occupied excessive amounts of terrestrial television time in recent weeks? On Saturday, I became square-eyed after watching three rugby matches in succession, to the extent that on Sunday I was barely able to summon up sufficient interest in the Hibees' glorious victory over Kilmarnock in what used to be known as the league cup final. Throw in a couple of Match of the Days plus a bit of cricket highlights and it was all overwhelmingly over the top.
Meanwhile tonight we have the doubtful pleasures of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea to sit through.
It's a hard life for a sports fan...
