Euro-trams
It is sad - but probably inevitable - that none of the four companies selected to tender for Edinburgh's trams is British. From The Evening News (here):

I came across your site while searching about trams. You might want to see this post that includes a small Video of a tramway that's being built in Paris by Alstom. Quite cool. Not sure if it matters which "country" is manufacturing the tram. Does it have to be British?
